Six Scottish bands have been chosen to play at this year’s Great Escape festival with support from Creative Scotland.
Prides, Honeyblood, Baby Strange, Leon T Pearl, Neon Waltz and RM Hubbert will play two Showcasing Scotland concerts presented by Creative Scotland on the 8th and 9th May at The Dome Studio Bar.
Taking place in Brighton from 8-10 May, The Great Escape is one of Europe’s leading music festivals that showcases emerging artists from all over the world.
The annual event will see over 400 bands performing across 35 venues and is expecting to attract nearly 20,000 fans.
Other Scottish acts that will be performing include Twin Atlantic, Hidden Orchestra and The Amazing Snakeheads.
RM Hubbert will be performing songs from his latest album, Brakes & Bones, which has been nominated for Scottish Album of the Year.
